Animal architecture

This workshop was held in Ishikawa prefecture Japan, on the edge of the mountains. An experimental architecture created for its new bird residents.

Conceived as a modul based structure, the pieces of wood has been precut, which allowed us to assemble them directly on the site. First, by gathering the pieces into one module, and then fixing the modules together to build the chicken coop.
The foundations are constituted of pipes, which don't harm the soil and can be removed for future uses, as well as the modules transformable into a different type of building or furniture.
